Notes: Shiner (12-0) and Flatonia (7-5) met in the final District 15-2A game on November 6.
Shiner won that game 28-0 to increase its winning streak over Flatonia to 16 games.
Flatonia's last win over Shiner was an 18-12 decision in 1995.
Shiner finished first in district and was ranked No. 4 in the final Class 2A state poll.
Flatonia finished fourth in district.
Shiner walloped Moody 53-13 in the area round, and Flatonia rolled past Junction 31-7.
Shiner has surrendered a total of 81 points this season and has six shutouts.
Flatonia's Matthew Kozelsky has 1,441 total yards and 16 touchdowns. Kozelsky also has eight of Flatonia's 16 interceptions.
Shiner's Dadrian Taylor has rushed for 1,315 yards and 25 touchdowns.
The winner advances to the quarterfinals against the winner of Friday's game between Refugio and Weimar.
