SHINER COMANCHES AT FLATONIA BULLDOGS
Last year: Shiner, 42-17.
Notes: Shiner (9-0, 4-0) goes for its 16th consecutive win against Flatonia (5-4, 2-2).
Shiner is ranked No. 4 in the state poll and has clinched a share of the district title and the first seed in the playoffs. Flatonia will be the fourth seed in the playoffs.
A win would give Shiner its first 10-0 season since 2004 when it last won a state championship.
Shiner's Dadrian Taylor has rushed for 965 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Flatonia's Matthew Kozelsky has an area-leading eight interceptions.
