SCHULENBURG SHORTHORNS AT SHINER COMANCHES

Notes: Schulenburg (4-4, 0-3) and Shiner (8-0, 3-0) play for the 10th straight season.
Schulenburg holds a 6-3 edge during that span and eight of those games were non-district contests.
Shiner is ranked No. 4 in the state poll and would clinch a share of the district championship with a win.

Shiner's Ty Boedeker replaced an injured Brandon Cerny at quarterback last week and led Shiner to a 29-7 win over Weimar.
Shiner's Dadrian Taylor has rushed for a district-leading 902 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Schulenburg's Javeon Lara has 798 combined rushing and return yards and five touchdowns.
Schulenburg's Shane Mendel and Rhett Ahrens have combined for seven interceptions.
Shiner's Charles Haynes, Boedeker and Taylor have combined for seven interceptions.
