Tidehaven (0-3) travels from El Maton to play Shiner (3-0) for the first time since the 1998 bi-district playoffs. Tidehaven won that game 27-8.
Tidehaven has scored a total of 18 points in its three losses.
Shiner is coming off a win over state-ranked Burton and moved from No. 3 to No. 2 in the Class 2A state poll.
Shiner’s Doug Brooks, Devin Lehnert and Donyai Taylor have combined to rush for 563 yards and seven touchdowns.
