Notes: Shiner (9-1) is the second seed in District 15-2A and London (7-3) is the third seed in District 16-2A.
Shiner is ranked No. 8 in the state and had a 4-1 record in district play. Shiner’s lone loss was to No. 1 Refugio in overtime.
London went 2-3 in district.
Shiner is making its 17th-straight playoff appearance. London is making its first-ever playoff appearance.
London went 1-6 in its first year in 2012 and did not field a varsity team last season.
Shiner’s Tyler Patek has rushed for 1,056 yards and 13 touchdowns, Chad Neubauer has rushed for 1,037 yards and 18 touchdowns, and Blake Michalec has rushed for 663 yards and eight touchdowns and passed for 652 yards and nine touchdowns.
Winner plays Mason in the area round.
