FLATONIA BULLDOGS AT SHINER COMANCHES
District 15-2A, Division I
Last year: Shiner, 35-0.
Notes: Flatonia (4-5, 0-4) and Shiner (8-1, 3-1) played last year in the Class 1A, Division I regional playoffs.
Shiner has won the last 15 games against its former district opponent. Flatonia's last win over Shiner was an 18-12 decision in 1995.
Shiner is ranked No. 8 in the state poll and has won three-straight games since losing in overtime to No. 1 Refugio.
Flatonia last went winless in district in 2010.
Shiner's Chad Neubauer has rushed for 922 yards and 17 touchdowns; Tyler Patek has rushed for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns, and Blake Michalec has rushed for 654 yards and eight touchdowns.
Flatonia's Casen Novak has passed for 658 yards and eight touchdowns, and Gus Venegas has 22 receptions for 389 yards and five touchdowns.
