Shiner Comanches at Goliad Tigers

Notes: Shiner (2-0) and Goliad (2-0) play for the first time since 1999. Shiner won that game 41-13.
Shiner has not allowed a point in wins over Industrial and St. Joseph. Goliad has outscored St. Joseph and Odem by a combined total of 99-7.
Shiner is ranked No. 7 in the state Class 2A poll and is yielding an average of 88.5 yards per game. Goliad is averaging 436 yards per game.
Shiner’s Tyler Patek has rushed for 291 yards and three touchdowns, and Chad Neubauer has rushed for 210 yards and six touchdowns.
Goliad’s Nate Kowalik has passed for an area-leading 754 yards and eight touchdowns, and Desmond Perry has an area-leading 15 receptions for 362 yards and three touchdowns.
