Shiner at Schulenburg Scrimmage
The Shiner football team played its second and final scrimmage at Schulenburg on Thursday.
Daniel Boedeker said Shiner showed improvement from the first scrimmage on both sides of the football.
"Our defense started out very well and when we were on offense, we were able to put some plays together to move the ball." We did a lot of good things on both sides of the football.
The Comanches did have a few penalties on offense that will need to be corrected heading into the season.
"We need to cut out those penalties to avoid having negative plays," Boedeker said.
