The Shiner Comanches host Lexington this week to close out non-district competition. The Shiner St. Paul Cardinals travel to Boerne to face the Geneva School of Boerne Eagles.

The Eagles have a solid all-around spread attack with a good line.

“Defensively, we will need to really attack, stay low and cover the run and pass well,” Shiner head coach Daniel Boedeker said.

“Their defense likes to load the box, they blitz and get to the ball quickly. They are not as big as what we have seen in the last few weeks.”

“Our offensive line will have to keep their heads up.”
