The Shiner St. Paul Cardinals will host the Austin Saints; the Shiner Comanches are away at Burton this week.


SHINER COMANCHES AT BURTON PANTHERS

The Comanches (2-0, ranked No. 2 in 2A - Division I travel to 2A - Division II Burton tomorrow.

“Burton is similar to what we have seen when we have played them in the past,” Shiner head coach Daniel Boedeker. “They have lots of speed and plenty of athletes to contain.”

On offense, the Panthers use a pro-set split back and will also get into a double-tight end formation with a fullhouse “T” backfield.

On defense, Burton is a 50 front and goes into a 4-2-5 look to defend the spread.
