The Tigers are winless after three games, losing to Refugio, Rice and Palacios.

“This will be a really good game for us,” Comanches head coach Steven Cerny said.

“Tidehaven lost a close one to Rice who beat Hallettsville and then lost a close one to Palacios on a muddy field. They have just two players that go both ways.”

The Tigers are a spread team that come out in the shotgun and some wildcat.

Quarterback Blake Garcia is a good passer and runner.

“Our defensive line will have to play good technique and we need to take away big plays,” he said.

The Tigers defense is a split with a four-man front, which Shiner has not seen yet. Tidehaven likes to bring the outside linebackers on stunts.

“Our offensive line will need to have their heads up and eyes open to pick up the stunts,” Cerny said.
