Shiner Comanches at Weimar Wildcats
The Comanches play their first road district at Weimar and with any Shiner-Weimar matchup, it’s shaping to be a good game.
“Weimar brought intensity when they came to our house last year and I expect the same when go over there,” Shiner head coach Steven Cerny said.
The Wildcats will show several looks on offense, including some that the Comanches use. “They will line up in the split- back, pro set and twins like we do but will also line up in the shotgun,” Cerny said. “Our defense cannot give them any big plays.”
The ‘Cat defense has switched to a 5-2 or 5-3 this year.
“Last year, they had a good defensive scheme against us,” Cerny said. “Weimar has quickness on defense. We will need to utilize our size on the offensive line.”
WHS is currently 1-4 on the season and is 0-1 in district play .
