The Shiner cross country team competed at the Regional meet in Corpus Christi on Monday (October 26, 2015). The girls finished 9th overall with 247 team points.
Shiner runners #2072 Maggie Grosenbacher (Sr) and #2074 Brooke Kloesel (Soph) qualified for the State Cross Country Meet.

Maggie Grosenbacher was the top finisher for the Lady Comanches in 7th place with a time of 13:05 and Brooke Kloesel came in second for the team in 17th with a time of 13:30.
These finishes qualified Grosenbacher and Kloesel for the State Meet at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock on November 7. They will run at 2:40 p.m.
Other runners on the 9th place Lady Comanches team included Jenna Berkovsky (60th, 14:36), Greta Grosenbacher (85th, 15:45), Sarah Tronicek (104th, 16:19), Alexis Rainosek (111th, 16:40), and Jayde Kurtz (117th, 16:56).
Noah Matthews also competed individually for the Comanches and finished 67th in the boys division with a time of 21:22.
