"Sports time ... Area high school football playoff action kicked off Thursday night. Our Howard Esse in Three Rivers where the fourth-ranked Shiner Comanches facing Riviera, 2A Division 1 bi-district playoff.
"Shiner's first possession, from four yards out, it was Chad Neubauer for the first of what would be MANY scores for the evening. Six-nothing Shiner.
"After an interception by the Comanches' Justin Stovall, one yard touchdown by Dadrian Taylor, 13-nothing.
"Then the Comanches go to the air ... Ty Boedeker with the deep ball to Stovall ... he's got it. One move and he's touchdown-bound.
"Shiner up 41-nothing at the half and Shiner wins 68 to nothing. Shiner will now face either Johnson City and Moody."

Shiner football won its 2A Division I Bi-District playoff Thursday night over Riviera, 68-0.
The fourth-ranked Comanches are now 11-0.
