Shiner Comanches at Kenedy Lions -- Last year: Shiner, 35-6.
Notes: Shiner (5-1) and Kenedy (4-1) met in the bi-district playoffs last season before moving into the same district.
Shiner has won four straight games since losing to Hallettsville, which is ranked No. 10 in the Class 2A state poll. Shiner defeated Weimar 33-32 last week and dropped from No. 6 to No. 7 in the Class 1A state poll.
Kenedy is coming off a 62-12 win over San Antonio Hawkins.
Shiner's Trevion Flowers, Evel Jones, Jacob Stafford and Caleb Curtis have combined to rush for 1,682 yards and 26 touchdowns.
Kenedy's Weston Hallmark has a district-leading 18 receptions for 186 yards and two touchdowns.
Shiner's Trevion Flowers has rushed for 578 yards and 10 touchdowns.
