EAST BERNARD - Shiner rained on East Bernard, defeating the Brahmas 32-15 on East Bernard's homecoming.

East Bernard (1-2) led in the first half, getting the first touchdown when quarterback Justing Breedlove hit Jermaine Perkins on an 86-yard scoring pass.

The team's second and final score came on a 4-yard run from Donnell Schuller.

Josh Greathouse scored first for Shiner (2-1) on a 9-yard run. Greathouse led the offense with 102 yards on 19 carries.

Curtis Shields scored twice for the Comanches. The first was on a 40-yard run, while the second came on a hook-and-lateral pitch from Tyler Forrest after he received a pass from Drew Stafford.

In the second quarter, Joey Gamez recovered an East Bernard fumble deep in Brahma territory and ran it in for a touchdown.

Besides the passing score just before halftime, Stafford also scored on a 37-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.
