Baer, Pustka carry Shiner to 34-0 win

SHINER - Running back Chris Baer and quarterback Garet Pustka each had two touchdown runs to lead the No. 5 Shiner Comanches to a 34-0 win over the Poth Pirates.
Baer, who rushed for 103 yards on just six carries, dashed 62 yards for a touchdown on the game's third play and added a 13-yard scoring run with 5:11 left in the second quarter to send the Comanches into halftime with a 27-0 lead.
In between Baer's two scores, Pustka, who rushed for 108 yards on 11 carries, had touchdown runs of 29 and 13 yards.
Quentin Wright, who had 74 yards rushing on 10 carries, added a 2-yard touchdown run with 9:33 left in the game for Shiner's final score. Wright also led the Comanches defense with an interception and 27-yard return that set up Baer's second touchdown run.
Poth managed only nine first downs and 152 yards of offense. Bobby Joe Serna led the Pirates offense with 76 yards rushing on 15 carries.
