SHINER COMANCHES AT FALLS CITY BEAVERS
LAST YEAR: Shiner, 27-0.
NOTES: Shiner (5-3, 4-0) takes a five-game winning streak into its game against Falls City (3-5, 2-2). Shiner would clinch the district's Division I playoff berth with a win. Falls City needs a win to remain in playoff contention. Shiner is ranked No. 18 in the Texas Football poll and has outscored its district opposition by a combined total of 236-15. Two of Shiner's three district losses since dropping from Class 2A to 1A in 2000 have come to Falls City. Falls City is seeking to avoid its first losing season since 1996. Shiner is averaging a district-leading 322.9 yards per game on offense and yielding a district-leading average of 191.4 yards per game on defense. Shiner's Kyle Condel, D.J. Pustka and Cody Franke have combined to rush for 1,483 yards and 17 touchdowns. Falls City's Kyle Johnson, Kyle Perna and Will Kirchhoff have combined to rush for 1,189 yards and 16 touchdowns.

PETTUS EAGLES AT FLATONIA BULLDOGS
LAST YEAR: Pettus, 23-12.
NOTES: Flatonia (5-3, 3-1) had won two straight over Pettus (7-1, 3-1) until last season. Pettus and Flatonia are locked in a second-place tie and the winner would either take over sole possession of second place or move into a first-place tie if Falls City defeats Shiner. Pettus has won three straight since losing to Shiner. Flatonia suffered its first district loss to Louise last week. Pettus' Jake Stanley has passed for 1,107 yards and 16 touchdowns and rushed for 513 yards and five touchdowns. Flatonia's Jordan Williams has passed for a district-leading 1,210 yards and 10 touchdowns and Adrian Lighteard has rushed for 911 yards and 13 touchdowns.
CHARLOTTE TROJANS AT WOODSBORO EAGLES
LAST YEAR: Woodsboro, 32-7.
NOTES: Woodsboro (1-8, 0-5) seeks its first district win when it closes out the season against Charlotte (4-4, 0-4). Woodsboro has lost five straight games and five consecutive district games since defeating Charlotte last season. Charlotte went undefeated in non-district play and has gone winless in district competition. Woodsboro has been plagued by turnovers this season and has a minus-14 ratio. Woodsboro's Mario Trevino and Anthony Hernandez have combined to rush for 732 yards and nine touchdowns. Charlotte's Stephen Wilson has rushed for 889 yards and five touchdowns.
