SHINER - The Shiner Comanches scored 33 first-quarter points and never looked back in a 64-0 rout of Woodsboro.
Five Shiner running backs ran for more than 50 yards, paced by 66 from both quarterback Kyle Condel and Lance Otto. Josh Greathouse totaled 62, Cody Franke added 58 yards and D.J. Putska gained 56.
Franke opened the scoring with an 8-yard run with 10:40 left in the first quarter. Condel connected with Adam Kalich for Shiner's next score from 12 yards out.
The Comanches (5-3, 4-0) took to the air again with 2:32 left when Condel and Franke hooked up from 37 yards out.
