State playoffs set for Weimar, Shiner

The Shiner Lady Comanches will play the opening game in the UIL state softball tournament on Thursday while Weimar Lady Cats will play later that afternoon in Austin.
The Lady Comanches (20-4-1) will meet Clyde Eula (25-5) at 8:30 a.m. in the Class 1A semifinals while Collinsville (26-1) will meet Dallardsville Big Sandy (18-4) in the other semifinal. The 1A championship game will be Saturday at 8 a.m.
