AUSTIN -- Shiner Lady Comanches won their game by a score of 10-4 to win the 2001 Texas Class A Softball Championship on Saturday morning at Red McCombs field at the University of Texas in Austin.

They were welcomed home by Shiner fans at 3:45pm with a ride on a fire truck, sirens, horns, whistles, and a pep-rally celebration at Shiner's Welhausen park ... see pictures below!
